Shu is a Curaçaoan interdisciplinary performing artist, and an Arts & Cultural producer based in the Netherlands. His work gives insights in #BlackBoyJoy, the emotional state of a person, and his personal roots. Within his creative process he draws inspiration from Afro-Surrealism and Afro-Futurism to create dramatized moments to better reflect a narrative, and he does so through performances using dance, Spoken Word, and Visual Arts.
Furthermore, Shu produces various concepts with opportunity for growing artists to take the stage and challenge themselves artistically. Doing so with the help of Urban Owl, a growing community of artists and creatives dedicated to collaborating and creating bigger projects together.
